When BikeTag started in 2018 as a simple web form for the /r/CyclePDX Reddit community, it had one main job: collect two photos and a bit of text to help players track the game. The early site served as both a submission form and an archive of past tags.
Today, the map is at the heart of the BikeTag experience. It helps players quickly find active tags, revisit past ones, and explore where the game has taken others. With GPS support built into the app, new tags are automatically placed on the map — and older tags can be updated with locations too.
